1. For most patients , it is a multi visit procedure . It is based on the heath of the pulpal tissue . Thorough cleaning and removal of all the infected areas of the tooth is done during multiple visits .

2. Nowadays , single visit root canals can also be done , when the root canals are performed intentionally to provide a bridge or when the canals are not much infected .

PROCESS

A full anesthesia is established giving numbness to the affected area . Followed by removal of infected tissue , cleaning of the canals and sealing it with biocompatible material . Final sitting with filling and cap placement .
